OGR INSTALLS NEW BOARD AND OFFICERS AT ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Austin, Texas, April 16, 2018 –The International Order of the Golden Rule (OGR), the world’s leading professional association dedicated to making independent funeral homes exceptional, installed its 2018-2019 Board of Directors during the OGR 2018 Annual Conference and Solution Center in Savannah, GA on April 6.

Adam Miles Martin, Martin Funeral, Cremation, & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, MI was installed as President. The 2018-2019 Board also includes Tom Hemmerle of Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, Madisonville, KY as President-Elect and Richard O’Hara, McAvoy O’Hara Company-Evergreen Mortuary, San Francisco, CA as Secretary-Treasurer. Charles A. Castiglia, Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home in Hamburg, NY was transitioned to Immediate Past President. Returning to the Board are Evan Strong of Evan J. Strong Funeral Services in Calgary, AB, and Mary Steele, Arnett & Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, KY. Paul Hummel, III, President Hummel Funeral Home in Akron, OH along with Raffy Jose, President and CEO, Arlington Memorial Chapels, Inc., Quezon City, Manila, Philippines were sworn in as first-time elected board members to two-year terms.
